Elizabeth Brennan, PT DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Dr. Brennan received her BA from Georgetown University and taught middle and high school English for many years. Her interest in fitness, performance, and rehabilitation developed during her time as a coach of middle and high school athletes.
Coming from an athletic background, she has always been involved in sports. Her love for sport and movement further increased when she became a CrossFit coach in 2013. She enjoyed the challenge of working with athletes exhibiting limitations or managing injuries but found that she could not help people as much as she wanted with only a coaching background. This inspired her to return to school and follow her passion for helping people move better, stay out of pain, and pursue a fulfilling and active lifestyle, graduating from East Carolina University’s DPT program in May 2024.
Working primarily in outpatient clinics, she has had opportunities to work with a vast patient population from post-surgical joint replacements to uncomplicated overuse injuries. Regardless of the issue, few things give Dr. Brennan more pleasure than seeing her patients return to a fully active lifestyle and the sports and activities they love. Her attention to underlying imbalances or limitations helps patients prevent further injury and stay ready to reach their maximum potential. With her functional fitness background and clinical training, she specializes in bridging the gap from rehab to return to activity, assisting patients through the full continuum of care.
